Rosette Nebula
Rosette Nebula
The Rosette Nebula is one of the most beautiful objects in the night sky and I never tire of imaging it. In this image red is hydrogen, blue/cyan is oxygen, and gold is sulfur. The Rosette is challenging to process because the central nebula is significantly brighter than the surrounding clouds, but they tell an important part of the story, too.Â
